Nanotubes (Glossary of Printed Electronic terms)

Tubes typically of carbon atoms with nanoscale dimensions i.e. one billionth of a meter. See nanotechnology. Nanotubes can exhibit exceptional conductivity and so they are of interest for printed electronics but unlikely to be available in printed form for some time.
