Speaker Biography
Clarke McAllister, President
 
Through ADASA, McAllister has led the industry movement toward Mobile RFID, whereby enabling RFID tag commissioning that integrates with existing business processes.
Prior to founding ADASA, Inc., McAllister was vice president of the RF Solutions division of Sirit Technologies (TSX: SI ) where he was responsible for the development of application-level technology including RFID interrogation engines. In this position, he led the development of UHF RFID reader system.
Before joining Sirit, McAllister was the RFID Engineering Lead and Senior Staff Engineer at PSC Inc., a $200 million privately held company in Oregon. McAllister was instrumental in the integration of RFID into PSC's product and technology product suite, which catapulted the company into a "top 3" supplier of RFID portable data terminals. In addition, McAllister led the development of a patented combined bar code and RFID reader system for PSC. McAllister also served as General Manager at SkiData America, a division of a $200 million privately held company that serves over 1000 resorts worldwide with hands free RFID access to ski lifts.
McAllister serves as an advisor to AIM (Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility) RFID Experts Group. He has been a guest speaker at numerous conferences including, IQPC: RFID in Retail Supply Chain, RFID Applications, RFID World, and Realities of RFID in Retail. McAllister graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor of science in electrical engineering.
